Jupiter is the fifth planet and it is the largest planet in the solar system. It has a mass of 1.9 x 1027 kg and is 142,800 kilometers or 88,736 miles across the equator. It also contains two and a half times the mass of all the other planets combined. Jupiter possesses 62 known satellites. The ring of Jupiter was discovered by Voyager 1 in March of 1979. List of Jupiter's moons discovered by Galileo Galilei: Amalthea, Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. But it confirmed that Jupiter have 63 moons.
