A flower is the reproductive organ of those plants classified as angiosperms. The function of a flower is to produce seeds through sexual reproduction. The four main parts of flower are calyx, corolla, androecium, gynoecium. The function of a flower is to mediate the union of male and female gametes this process called pollination.
